Disaster last day of school
As I awoke from my deep sleep I felt a large grin on my face. Today was going to be a fantastic last day of school! I leaped up, tripped over my fat cat and raced down the endless hallway. I got the milk out of the fridge and slammed the door shut.
I was eating my breakfast when I got the biggest fright of my life. I looked at the clock to see I was going to be late for school.
I sprinted back to my stuffy room and got changed. But what was that noise? I looked out my window. Disaster had struck. I raced back down our hallway and slid open the ranch slider.
As I was running to the school bus I tripped over and grazed my knee on the gravel. But I wasn’t going to give up. I jumped back up and went over to investigate. I looked in the window. My cousin was crying with cuts all over her. I smashed the window with some rocks to send a signal to all the children in need of help I was here to save them.
As I turned around to get my parents they came running up to me. I explained everything. My mum instantly called the police and the kids and the driver were saved.
But that was not the end of the day. My mum had to take all the unhurt kids and I in our people mover to school. But when we arrived our Principal Mr. Wilson said overnight somebody had broken in, stolen computers and burnt the school down. He told us “My wife and her daughter were in the school grounds doing work and…” He could not finish the sentence.
He was sulking when I got the idea what had happened, and burst into tears. His daughter was my best friend.

My Sponsorship Letter
Dear Mum and Dad,
Throughout term 4 my class and I have been researching New Zealand’s native Maui’s Dolphins and have realised that they are critically endangered. There are approximately 111 dolphins left and we need to take action.
We have come to a decision to adopt a dolphin. My teacher is collecting $1 off each student in my class.
Can we please have a $1 family donation.
